Ladies Football
|
Nomads StretchMark Ladies Soccer team was formed in 2010 by a group of mothers who just wanted to exercise whilst waiting for children’s soccer training to finish.
Since then it has gone on to become a well established section within Nomads which participates in ladies soccer tournament all around metro Manila.
The team is even filling up the trophy cabinets with medals and trophies.
Their name the “StretchMarks” was based around their first ever coach Mark Hartmann and the fact that most of the players were mums.
They have played in approx 15 tournaments and joined the Weekend Football League in 2011 when the WFL rolled out its first ever ladies soccer league.
They play regular league games at Nomads on Sunday evening at 630pm and there is training each Monday / Wednesday and Friday evening at 6pm.
Football is not only for young and experienced people. Whether you are old or young, and or beginner or advance, the Nomads StretchMarks' wants you!
